adjusting VoiceOver volume on Apple Watch

HI all, hoping someone here can give me some insights.

I recently switched the voice on my watch from Alex to Eloquence, and changed the VoiceOver volume in the settings. Since doing this, the double tap and hold gesture no longer works to change the volume, like where you double tap and hold and then slide your fingers up and down the screen. I switched it back to Alex in case it was an issue with the eloquence voice, and it still doesn't work.

Anyone else experience this? It was working for a while and now suddenly isn't.

Thanks for any help.

Never of heard of it before you mention. Always used rotor to change volume from the watch or sometimes the phone.

The rotor doesn't work either. The volume will increase and decrease but there are no changes to the sound.

Go to setting on watch, accessibility, voiceover, speach, slide to speech quality and turn it off. It tend to affect volume. Got this from an email that people were having issues with it and I check to see if my was off, it was this is why I am not having issues.

I see a setting called speech clarity, is that what you mean? It's already turned off.

OK. The only thing I have is for you to do a restart. Hold down crown and side button for 10 seconds and let go. Hope someone also provide help. Maybe the new update will fix it when it come out.
