issue listening to books on native books app

I'm hoping someone can help me with this annoying issue I'm having with the books app on my mac.

Whenever I try to listen to my audiobook, it says this computer is not authorized. I even checked the settings and it *is* authorized.

Does anyone know how to fix this? There's no reason I shouldn't also be able to listen to my book on my computer.
