I tried getting into Facebook today for the first time since upgrading my iphone in September. I found it impossible to enter my password. Firstly, the password text field won't show up without screen recognition. But even after turning on screen recognition and bringing VO focus to the field, typing my password with my BT keyboard had no effect, as if I was typing into a black hole.
How is it possible for such a long-standing app to decide that the old accessible password field that has worked for years suddenly needs to be replaced with a new inaccessible password field?
Thanks for enduring my brief rant.

That is odd. When I migrated…
That is odd. When I migrated over from my iPhone SE3 to the 16, I didn't have to log back in at all. I haven't seen this but what I can say is that the facebook app has several annoying issues with Voiceover, specifically the reading of the person's name followed by profile picture, followed by their name again, and then the post. It's way more verbose than it needs to be. It has made the app a lot more clunky. Still possible to navigate, but when you just want to get to the point, it's just annoying.
Facebook
Recently facebook has just decided to reverse all accessibility gains over the past few years. It is annoying..
