VO saying "current item" or "current location" in some apps and on some websites.

Okay, so this is driving me totally bonkers!!! VoiceOver has recently started saying "current item" practically everywhere on the Chewy app and "current location" in the same way on the Amazon app, which makes reading anything basically impossible to read all the way through with speech because VO is constantly interrupting itself to say these phrases. I also recently encountered the problem on the web, with a link which I will post in a moment. Before that, though, has anyone else noticed this problem? I'm not sure if this is an iOS 18 issue or what, but it's making me go absolutely insane! I have to read line by line a lot now with Chewy and Amazon rather than by just flicking through paragraphs and letting VO read them (I only just encountered the issue with Safari and that site today, and I had to do that their, too) and because of that, I'm being slowed down. VO even interrupts itself when reading line by line, but at least in that case, it's a lot less word to have to listen to again.

This issue is percistant and continuous, to the point where VO will interrupt itself multiple times while reading a paragraph. Also, if you just do nothing and stop moving your focus around the screen, VO will continue to repeat the phrase in question over and over every few seconds.

Please, someone tell me that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue! I certainly don't want anyone else to be going through the nightmare I am, but at least if someone else is, I'll know that I'm not alone.
