If the developers would just turne on voice over, and try the app. They would not put this horrible excuse of an app out.

It has not crashed yet on my iPhone 5. The other version used to crash a lot.

No the app works perfectly. They do have blind beta testers so I heard a while back, how ever I don't they they are utilizing them. Over all the app works quite good. My only complaint is it still lags on the news feed tab when you go to switch news feeds to let's say recent. As for the person who had the app crash, that's possibly a memory issue. Try closing all apps from the app switcher by swiping up with 3 fingers, on the apps until you are left with the home section, then reboot the phone. Take care.

Still no notification sound for push notifications, very disappointed. Don't get me wrong I am happy with the improvements in recent updates, but I know I am not the only one who has this issue. I have contacted facebook but had no reply. All in app settings and notification Centre settings are correctly set as far as I know. I am also aware though that this isn't the same for all VO users. Running iPhone 5C and current iOS7 version. Best. Mike
Since I disabled all notifications I don't get them anyway. I do get the badge notifications so that works. You could always look at yoru badge count for a work around and your notifications can wait until you get to them lol!
no matter what I do, the news feeds are all over the place. When I click on most recent, the news feeds are still out of order. And voice over will just make a clicking sound and not read the status. then some times it will crash.

Thanks for the info about notification sounds all, will just have to wait and see what comes up in future updates I guess. Mike
Ah yeah looks like they broke that server side. As for the clicking that means voice over is stuck until the app refreshes itself. and I do notice the news feeds are still out of order even when you click most recent. there has not been a n update so I surmise this is server side and not app side.

Hi guys, So far I've not noticed any bugs apart from the ones we already know about. Mike, you mentioned you don't get notifications sounds on Facebook. I posted a guide on here a bit ago on how you can still get notification sounds. It mentions you can delete the Facebook app if it ever becomes inaccessible, but you don't have to. You can just keep the Facebook app and use it just turn off notifications for Facebook and just use this method. Here's the link: http://www.applevis.com/guides/ios/get-accessible-facebook-and-notifications-your-iphone-no-app Let me know if this helps

Hopefully, to answer some of the questions asked on here. So far on the iOS 7.0.2 on my iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4. I have yet to see any kind of problems. I am not finding that the app crashing at all. As for the Push Notifications. This also appear to be working just fine. Make sure that everything appears to be set. Check your Notifications with in the Apple Settings, Facebook with in the Apple Settings, and lastly Notifications is set up as you like with in Facebook. Lastly, strangely when I have selected the Most Recent from with in the News Feeds View Option. I am seeing all of my Status being displayed correctly by the time. The only issue that I have is the ability to read the Status with in the News Feed. It seems to be really slow and lags quite a bit. As I would flick to the right. It could take up to several seconds in order to have it read to me. So if you just flick to the right and don't wait before flicking again. You may only get a clicking sound. So you have to wait a few seconds before it will read out the Status. There are at times it just won't read anything even if I do wait a few seconds. I just end up tapping on the screen. It will find the Status once again. I can then start flicking to the right again. So they definetly have to get this part resolved. Those are my observation so far.

Hmm that's odd. Yeah several of my fb friends are having the most recents now showing the most recent. It will work for the fist 15 or so then jump back to days ago and then forward to maybe a few minutes ago or even a hour back. It really sucks. and I showed that on one of my audio boos at http://audioboo.fm/marrie1 Take care.
hi guys. the thing about posts not in order, is not a mobile app problem. it's actually much deeper then that. even on the mobile facebook website, it does this. not sure about the main facebook.com site, but it's sure doing it on the m.facebook.com one. so this has actually got to do with facebook, not the app.
Actually the mobile site has been like this I believe for a few months now. I did tweet fb access with this thread so hopefully they can take a look and fwd this to the right folks to take a look. Thanks for letting us know it might be an even deeper problem then we anticipated.

Actually there are some things I don't like about the latest version. Firstly, the number of notifications you have isn't spoken on the notifications button on the bottom of the screen. It is only read out on the facebook app icon. Secondly, and the most annoying for me is if one of your friends like a status or page, and it shows up in your news feed, it reads it out as "John likes this. Two finger double tap to interact with this story" but there is no way to view what they have liked. If you do the two finger double tap it gives you some options which are something like hide, hide all from user, report/mark as spam, and cancel. If you do a normal one finger double tap nothing happens. I wouldn't mind this but these types of posts have started to appear in my news feed more than previous versions, and unless I'm missing something, they are pretty useless to us really.
