issues with VoiceOver and bluetooth keyboard in ios7

Hi all, wondering if anyone has experienced any of the following issues when using a Bluetooth keyboard with ios7. I am using a 5s running ios 7.0.2, but would also be interested if people have noticed this on other devices. I have found several problems, firstly when I use a Bluetooth keyboard to enter a password I have found that if I hit two letters on the keyboard very quickly one straight after the other for example like a double press of a letter the first letter will give the click sound, but the second press will give no click sound at all. This seems to be the case for any quickly pressed two letter combination and is quite unnerving as of course your not sure if anything happened without the second click sound. If you press a letter an wait a second or so then press it again you get the usual click sound so it means I am slower when entering passwords so I can be sure all my key presses go through. The second issue I have noticed is that when pressing my shift key to do a capital letter, VoiceOver always says capslock off regardless of the state of the key and doesn't report when it is on. I have found these problems with several different keyboards now, so would be very interested to know if other people have experienced them as well.

i too have had to slow down when entering a password to be sure that all the letters take. I don't think I've seen the capslock issue, but I've had issues with the on-screen keyboard being up even though the bt keyboard is in use, thankfully fixable with the show/hide keyboard button, or not being able to get the on-screen keyboard back after having used the bt keyboard and turned it off. I also find that the home button on the keyboard often doesn't work.
I don't have the password issue as all chars no matter what sped get entered, I do how ever have the password issue and I have reported it to apple. Email accessibility@apple.com wiht a formal bug report including logs if possible and the more of us that do it the more they can look in to it especially since some of us have different phones. Mine's a 5. Take care.

I too noticed the occasional nonclicking if I type in my password a bit fast, although, it has been entered correctly. And yes, I am noticing the capslock issue. Another glitch when doing text entry in programs like skype or twitter is that when I enter my text and hit send, I notice the boundary sound going off nonstop until I shut the bt keyboard off. That can be a bit nerve-wracking. It's as if something is holding a key down on the keyboard, when that's not the case.
hi, firstly, yes, i too have had the password thing happen. got a bit confused and worried that my keyboard was faulty at first, but now i just ignore it, and it entered correctly, even if not all the clicks are made. secondly, yes, i get the boundry thing in skype, haven't really tested much other places, but i do get it in there. damn anoying. lol. i'm running an iPhone 5, with iOS 7.02.

Hi there! Just wondering if you could recommend a decent Bluetooth keyboard for an iPad mini? Since you have used several keyboards, according to your post, I thought I must write you to get your opinion. Again, I am running IOS 7.0.2 on my iPad mini. I am looking for something cost-effective and small in size. Thanks in advance. Arjun

Hi Arjun, I am sorry I have no experience of iPad keyboards, only iPhone ones. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Hi. I use the Amazon Basics bluetooth keyboard with everything. I don't know why it shouldn't work with the mini. I have a mini, but bought the Logitech ultrathinn bluetooth keyboard for it that acts as a case back as well. It was $79, but the Amazon keyboard is now $29.99.
