When adding my favorite team, I had to use the rotor and select the favorite action. Simply double-tapping on the team name didn't work.
NFL is not yet available however it should be by next season.

Also I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can't seem to check scores before yesterday.

Being the big Liverpool fan that I am, I wanted to view the lineup for our game. it is not even read.
I was able to view stats for the man city game last night, but again unable to read the lineup. Hopefully they'll fix that soon.

I just grabbed myself a copy of this app, and briefly checked it out. I was able to add the Chicago Cubs to my line-up, and skim over another team's game from yesterday. This app is going to be a big win for a lot of people, not just in the area of sports itself. It seems to be fully accessible with VoiceOver, and I think the fact that Apple made it accessible upon release just further underscores their ongoing commitment and dedication to universal access for all. Others may disagree on that, but there you go. I think I will become more of a sports fan now, and I've got Apple to thank for that!

I’m really not liking it. It’s great that it’s successful. But I do not like that. You have to specifically pick teams. I would prefer to use an app like sports alerts because it allows me to keep track of all teams as wanted. I really wanna know standings. I wanna know scores for other teams And I wanna be able to swap different sports. Sports alerts does all that. Apple sports making you choose favorites is definitely a dealbreaker for me. Maybe I’m wrong and someone can redirect me and show me how to get all sports scores for specific day instead of just for one team

I like how easy it is to use this and keep track of my favorite basketball team. Cant wait for NFL so I can add my team.

I haven't downloaded, simply because i am happy with The score, and don't see the need to download it because apple put it out. Ashrine maybe you can let them know your preferences. I'm sure you're not the only person who feels like this.

Apple News, even after all these years, is still not available in a lot of countries, even English speaking ones.
And it seems they’ve gone the same way with sports.

So the Euros has just started which is a big event for international football (as in soccer if I must...)

But am I right in thinking that it is nowhere to be seen in the Apple Sports app? I certainly couldn't find it last night as I was trying to distract myself from the travesty of the Scotland vs Germany commentary.

Also noticed the main menu button isn't labelled. I guess the fact that it was quite surprising to hear is a testament to how Apple at least usually gets that bit right.

That’s disappointing if the Euros, and football / soccer more generally isn’t well covered. Not a huge surprise perhaps, as Apple does very much put the American market first. Here in Ireland we haven’t even got the Apple News or this Apple Sports app at all!
For football, may I recommend Forza Football to you.

I found that both Champions League and Europa League are now selectable in the app. I may be wrong but I don't think you can get to domestic cups but I will try again mid week if I remember.

I actually quite like the app now - mainly for its simplicity. The other apps are OK but just a bit much.

Only thing I wish is that it wouldn't say the name of the competition before every score. It would be a bit better if the competition was a heading and then the scores underneath as it just makes flicking through a little more tedious. But otherwise it's getting there.

And to Dave, apologies for ignoring your comment. I did try Forza and then rudely never thanked you for the suggestion. It's probably the next best now Apple Sports is slowly improving. I got some good use of it during the Euros.
