The guide for the Mac Pages by Anne and Archie Robertson is published in 2016. How useful or relevant now in 2024?

I read your guide and it is great. Hope you will expand it in future.
Also it would be really great if you can create something for other productivity apps like KeyNote and Numbers.

Thanks for the compliment about the guide. They are all linked to each other. I have other guides planned and will get to them when I have the time.

I think it covers more than Kevin's guides, no offense to Kevin, they're great! I think they just assume you know a fair bit about word processing to begin with, and there are just things mentioned here that they don't cover. I can't imagine that it's that out of date, just because it's from 2016. It also wouldn't surprise me at all if the book and Kevin's guides supplement each other.

Anyway I figured I'd post the link, since it mentions some of the topics it covers, in case that's something people hadn't seen yet.

I purchased the guide already and wanted to know if there is something newer.
Some great productivity apps on the Mac have not been covered in guides or tutorials, such as Scrivenerm KeyNotes, Numbers etc.

I was thinking about buying it, that and the book on photos and video on iOS mentioned in another thread. I won't be doing it right away because I'm still deciding whether I'll switch or not. But given the experience so far, unless something drastic happens, it looks like switching is where I'm headed.

It sounds like at least a good basic to intermediate guide anyway. So I'd be curious to know what you think about it. Was it helpful?

It is very good guide, some discussions are a bit on the too brief side, yet the guide is useful.
