Has anyone found a work around for the shortcuts app? I'm running IOS 18.0. I tried to make a personal automation, but I can't add actions using VoiceOver. Has this been reported, and is there a work around?
I used to be able to run actions for an automation. For example, turn off wifi. Now I could only see list of shortcuts to be triggered by automation. Serching for word "wifi" did not give results. I had to create a shortcut that turns wifi off and add this to the automation. Can anyone confirm this? Is there something I'm missing about accessing actions to be run from automation? Btw, tripple tup was the fix for me as well. Thanks for the tip.
Ever since a recent iOS 17 version, whenever you click to create a new automation, you are shown a list of shortcuts. At the top of the list is a new blank automation button. Currently, voiceover doesn’t recognize it when you tap it. I usually explore by touch and find the button, turn off voiceover, tap the button, then turn voiceover back on, but it looks like a triple tap (The default assignment; long press) seems to work for some people, so I’m assuming that would work for you too. Once you create a new blank automation, you’ll get your standard Shortcuts creation interface.

Select new blank automation.
