Apple Beta Releases

Okay so I was reading and it said turn beta updates off and wait for next official release which came out today 18.01. I don't see that update and its showing IOS 18.1 as my only option. Any idea what else I can do to get on official release?

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

If you have disabled beta updates, and the update to 18.1 appears, it is probably because your iPhone is suitable for receiving Apple Intelligence. Then update to 18.1.

Are you on the beta 18.1? If so, you won't back down to 18.0.1. You'll have to wait until 18.1 official comes out later this month.

As it stands, I wouldn't worry too much as the OS is going to be pretty much exactly the same, being a release candidate so you're not losing out by being on the beta as it's as close to the general release as possible.

Personally, I'm staying on it to hopefully try the hearing aid stuff for airpods pro 2 sooner. Who knows if that will go to beta first though.

In short, just leave it switched off and you'll update later this month with IOS 18.1 official.

Well it says on the software update 18.1 beta 2 so i'm guessing im on 18.1 beta 1. So I will wait again. I really appreciate the help. I was confused.
Edit to correct. I'm on 18.0 still. I only thought that because it said 18.2 in the software update and I thought it auto updated to 18.1 because it's done that before. Sorry for any confusion.

You've gone into setting, general, software update, beta, and turned that off,, yeah?

If not, you need to do that, I think once you go into the beta screen, you need to tap off twice, I'm not sure why perhaps it's a bug.

Once that's done, you'll only get non beta releases.
