Hello, I've recently started using Garage Band on my Mac and am wanting some details on how to use it. I need, idealy a podcast, but a guide would do aswell. When I say getting started, I mean from the very basics. I've managed to create and save the file, but one thing I can't figure out how to do is play the instrument I've got up. I don't have a keyboard or anything that connects to my computer, and I can't figure out how to play it. I can create a new track, select which instrument I want but just can not find where to play it. So as you can imagine, I am struggling to get stuff done on it lol. So if someone could post a link to a getting started guide/podcasts that would be great, or just post some tips on here. Thanks for any help. Callum.

command-shift-k is the keystroke to bring up this window. you can then use your computer's keyboard to play and record the patterns you've selected such as drums, sound effects, strings, guitar, keyboards and the like. for some podcasts, there are six in all in one series by ricardo walker that you might find helpful.
