Is there a Braille Screen input for double tap and hold?

I have carbed through the entire help and even the list of
commands and can't find a way to double tap and hold.
To for instance activate the whats'up voice message button.
I even tried using the long press command dot 3, 5, 6 and then tried flicking quickly but sadly the lock button does not appear. If you try to rotor to it the long press gets dismissed.
Loving this new command mode for BSI, but that is about one of the important commands missing.

Yes, there is. You just do Dots 3,5,6 two times quickly.

unfortunately pressing this twice does not work. It will hold for about a second and a half or so and then disengage.
Really is kind of a bummer, then again apps like whats'up could enable the magic tap gesture which does work with BSI an ddisplays.
But getting them to change anything well...

Dots 1, 5, 6,

Just press dots 3, 5, & 6 altogether, one time. That is the command for long press, a. k. a. press & hold, a. k. a. etc.

Make sure you are in Command mode; 3 finger swipe in either direction to switch between input mode and command mode. Alternatively you can triple tap the edges of your display to start BSI in command mode.

HTH.

Please suggest this be added for Braille displays. It should hold the button down until you press select or 3,6 cord to stop it. This would allow for recording of Whatsapp audio messages in apps such as the Bard app where it says double tap and hold to continue fast-forwarding ETC.

Unfortunately after extensive testing I found that the long press gesture which I thought was only faulty in Braille displays or BSI also is broken when using external keyboards. This is truly a bummer because I used it all the time with an external keyboard for Whats'up ect. before IOS18.
Anybody wish to join me in reporting it as a bug?

Well spotted. I'll add to the feedback for the continuous press. I think there needs to be two different names for it, the double tap and hold does one thing, edits apps etc, but this is slightly different.
