iOS 18, Voice Memos, Finally offers stereo recording for built-in mics!

I agree it's been a long time coming, and, agree, theirs other apps that allow for this, but, it is really nice to have the option in iOS native Voice Memos app! My personal preference, it's the recording app I use most. Head into settings, apps, voice Memos, enable stereo Recording for yourself!

Which of the three mics are used for stereo?

There is a feature in the Voice Memos app, where you're able to enhance your recording, delete silent spaces, and the quality sounds better. However, every time I try to share that enhanced version of the recording, only the normal version gets shared. Have they fixed this issue as well? Thanks.

It didn't record in stereo despite having enabled it, but I was using headphones, so maybe that was it. Pity, I would rather record with them in so I can find the stop button more quickly without recording Voiceover.
