Hey everyone,
So I'll be getting an iPhone XS Max, 256 GB, at the end of October. It's currently still running iOS 16.6. But, I want to know. People who are running iOS 17 or iOS 18 on iPhone XS/XS Max or 10 R, what's your experience. What still works and what doesn't? If somebody who has those models of phones could please answer the question, that would be great. Thank you.

Works well enough for me.
Xs Max running iOS 17 here, and still able to do my thing. I can play games, send mail, use Facebook/WhatsApp/X, and brows pages just fine. Not quite sure what else there is to cover. If there's any specific things you wish to know, just ask.
How is the battery life?
How's the battery life on your ex X Max. Of course I know this will be different, if I ask somebody else with a tennis max, because people use their devices differently, but I'm really curious.
Mine not so good anymore.
I can drain my own battery in 4 to 5 hours if I'm active enough. Then again, my battery is about 6 years old. I used to at least make 10 hours in the begining.

Yesterday I updated to 18.
Everything is working smoothly. I haven't noticed any battery performance drops compared to iOS 17.
Of course, it's no longer a speed demon, but it works very well for its 6 years.
