Hello.
I've been using Chat Gpt and siilar AI apps for a a couple of months.
Whenever I query a prompt that have websites coming from different sources and it lists off the websites that it searches the information from, Chat Gpt will say the number of websites. it presents itself as a button and clicking on it with Voiceover yields no results of letting me view or visit these websites in question.
Has anyone ran into this issue, and is there a workaround?
Thank you

same for me
I had exactly the same issue with the iOS app. Even screen recognition didn't work for me. If I need to click on a source for something nowadays, I use ChatGPT through my browser on my Windows computer. I tried telling ChatGPT to make the links accessible for a screen reader through the app. Occasionally it worked, it sometimes created a bulleted item I could activate with VoiceOver, but I had to ask ChatGPT so many times before it understood that I just gave up trying to get it to work. It's just easier for me to use ChatGPT on my Windows machine if I want to access the sources it's giving me. I haven't tried this on iOS for months now. Maybe prompting it now might be better.
Providing accessible links
Ask it to provide the links without markdown that you can coppy and paste. It will then be easy to navigate using lines on the roter and then coppy and paste by tapping 4 times with 3 fingers to coppy the last spoken content to clipboard, that being the link. You Then paste this into safari. Failing this, do the same and ask for the title of the source which you can do the same with, coppying and pasting into the address bar on safari.
Hope this helps :)
interesting work-around
Well it's certainly a work-around. It works for the most part. I asked for several sources for something, and it put them into a numbered list. The numbers were included on the same line as the source. So I would have to remember to tell it not to number the sources. I could however copy and paste the line into Safari. Think I'll just stick to the website on Windows if I want to click on the sources. Thanks for the info though.
@tara
Fair enough. I have mine set in custom instructions and memory and it works quite well for the most part. I can dig out exactly what I have written if you want.

Please don't worry about it. It's a minor inconvenience for me really. I much prefer doing stuff like this on my computer anyway. Although the original poster might want some instructions though.
