Hello everyone,
I'm so happy AppleVis is back.
Now, I have an external HD that's 1 TB. It was split into two partitions, let's call them 1 and 2.
I need to resize partition 1, so I deleted partition 2, but I can't resize partition 1 at all. Can you guide me through the steps on how to do this?
I'm using the latest macOS 14 update.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't had to change a partition since I switched to APFS. I make the entire disk one APFS partition, then add or remove APFS volumes as needed.

But, as I understand it, you would interact with the Disk Selection Table, then VO+Up or Down to select the entire disk. Stop interacting, navigate back to the toolbar, and interact. Find the Partition button and select it. A dialog opens, and in that dialog, you should be able to change the size for each partition.

At least, that's how it looks like it would work for me, if I wanted to change the size of my APFS partitions. And I'm on 14.6.1.

Good luck!
