Latest Sonos iOS app broken preventing adding new speaker or joining existing system

This is in regards to Sonos iOS app from a week ago, version 80.07.03,. I had to uninstall the Sonos app from my iPhone (latest iOS 17.6.1), due to buggy behavior with Amazon Music. However upon reinstalling the Sonos app and opening it, and clicking on “let’s get started“ on the very first screen you’re taken to the next screen either choose add/component, or choose “existing system“. I activate “join existing system“ (behavior is the same by pressing add components/speaker or add headphone), you are presented with the screen to review the license guidelines and so on which I did however the “except button“ remains them no matter how exhaustively use scroll those guidelines and licenses etc. related documents that you can review from this screen. There is no way to move beyond the screen because the button remains dimmed and the cancel button is the only one that’s active. this is a severe problem of course because the user is totally prevented from using Sonos iOS app much less set up their system. anybody else experiencing this? I’m not aware of any work around personally.

I have reported this to Sonos so they are aware, hopefully a fix will be sorted sooon. I had exactly the same issue and not quite sure how I got past it in the end, just turned VoiceOver off and kept swiping and eventually got through to the next screen.

I think you have to scroll through the entire document, three finger swipes up,, which is in some way recognised by the app before the agree button becomes usable. I've seen this in some other apps too where doing just a four finger tap at the bottom of the screen to jump to the last page doesn't suffice.

Elliot’s method of turning VoiceOver off and doing a whole bunch of single finger swipes right with a few left thrown in for good measure, and then turning voice back on indeed magically turn on the except button! The other suggestion of scrolling on the screen with three fingers up Doesn’t change anything. Thanks however to both of you.

i've had this issue for several years. most people don't experience because it only happens when the app is installed. i have been a beta tester for Sonos and have been very unimpressed with their unresponsiveness to the point that i haven't purchased any new products for a while. i am not holding my breath for a fix.

this new sonos app for IOS has a lot of bugs. it's constantly crushing and doesn't want to open on IOS 17.6.1 and i have to uninstall and reinstall it inorder to get it working. and yes, i expirience the same problem on the start screen. there is no way to check this checbox saying that i've red and understud there policy using VoiceOver. for now to easily access my library and music services i use a third party app named Sonophone.
