I cant post Facebook updates on Facebook. Not with Braille screen input. I can only comment. Any work arounds or does anybody know an email for the accessibility team? Btw: Its great that Applevis is back!!
You can post if not using BSI? If so then it must be a BSI issue which seems odd if it works in all other edit fields. Sorry don't use it so not much help really.

Great leave it up to fb to fix that horrible messenger bug to mess up posting now. I reported it and as of now using notes to coppy and paste. I will have a look at the drafts app.
I, too, have used the notes trick. Sadly, with no Applevis guidance on the issue, I had to pioneer my workaround, which it sounds like many others have done! As a side note, posting via the Mac is also a chore. There's no audible feedback for backspacing, or trying to perform edits. I think it's their pesky new AI platform that constantly analyzes text as it's written that's to blame! I'd be happy if they'd just let us turn it all off! Cheers to all of you!
It's a bug with the latest FB app. It's quite annoying. There should be no excuse for all these types of bugs that pop up like this. Messenger was acting up, now it's FB. What else. Not only does BSI not work but if you use the keyboard, that's doing strange things too. Don't even get me started on editing a post because you can't do it accurately because VO is now editing one letter behind of what it's actually needing to do. This will take months, just like all the other bugs I've seen happening with meta so don't get your hopes up that this will get fixed right away because it won't Lol.
I downloaded Facebook, Today, Version 481.0.0. On-screen braille input works, but characters and words are not being echoed. It's imperfect but usable. The link that someone posted opened the app for me, but didn’t bring me to a place where I could report the bug.

Use the Notes app, and copy…
Use the Notes app, and copy/paste your status update. You have to do the same when editing posts too.

When i post to face book with my apple blue tooth key board i get double speaking of characters
Yeah, they broke Facebook again.
Copying and pasting from notes sounds like the best workaround until they fix it.
