Hi dear readers:

I would like to
give myself an apple TV this summer, but I have the doubht on which one to buy, the 4k with 64 or 128 gb.

The eternet port is not necessary for me, so that is not the issue; but the saving space, because don't know if it would be that easy to fill the one with 64gb with few apps.

Any Advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards.

Is best that you go with it. If is not about money, get the 128.

If money is not a deciding factor, then go big or go home. More storage is always better. πŸ˜‡

Hi Karina. Hope you are doing well. I would say, it really depends on what you plan to do with it, and how much media you plan to download to the device. On one hand, I would agree with the other comments above, that more storage is usually best, but on the other hand, if all you plan to do is stream, and not actually put a movie collection on the device itself, then that's kind of a waste. It really all depends on how you plan to use the device. Are other family members going to use it too? Will they want to put lots of stuff on it? These are just things to consider. I'm also looking to get one of these, but even 64 seems like a lot to me on a tv, when I didn't even fill up the 32 gb one I had before, since I pretty much stream everything. There are people who instead of streaming, prefer to buy their movies, and always have a copy on device, and in that case, sure, it would fill up fast.

You can't store media locally on an apple TV, at least, no apps can that I'm aware of. The 128 is bundled with the lan port, I think, for gaming purposes but considering there are no accessible games, and you're not bothered about lan, then the 64 will suffice. You're not getting any benefit otherwise.

Hey there.
I would always choose the 128 GB model over the 64 GB one. The upgrade is a measly 20 dollars for dubble the storage, you won't get a cheaper storage upgrade then that from apple.

thanks all guys for your answers.
I doubht I will ever download a bunch of movies or chapters of a serie, so I will keep with my first thought, buy the 64 gb apple tv, because even when more storage is better, why do I have to spend 20 more bucks for a storage I will never use? the same happens wit my iPhone, with all the apps and things I have in it, I have only 80gb in use, and I haven't got a reason to convince myself otherwise.
thanks and greetings.
