Switching between apps on a bluetooth keyboard with an iPhone

Hello. I am learning how to use my keyboard to my phone. I cannot for the fragile, little life of me figure out how to switch between apps but I know it can be done but whatever I try it doesn’t work. I do not have an Apple keyboard.

The command to go to next or previous app is listed as, "Shift + Left Brace (for previous), and shift + Right Brace for (next).

You can change these of course, by going to Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Commands > Keyboard.

I do not know if you need to hold the VO keys or something like Command, as I do not have a keyboard attached to my iPhone.

HTH. 🙂

For some reason this is not working. Do I need a certain layout on my keyboard? I would switch if I knew how.

I tried it with both English and Swedish layout and it made no difference. Do I have to activate something or change something to make it work again?

What is the keyboard you're using? the brackets to be used are the ones to the left of the return key.

This won't work on the home screen, you have to be in an app.

If you use a Mac computer, they are the same keys you would use for going back-and-forth on Safari, and possibly other web browsers. Just with a caveat of using the shift key as well.

Also, you can change the keys to something else. Go to the settings that I mentioned in my first reply above.
