A while back, I did a fresh wipe and reinstall of Windows 11 on my HP laptop. The process went very smooth, if a bit time consuming. My laptop is running great, better in fact as the wipe fixed a few odd issues I was having, such as the dreaded Windows Input Experience that was driving me slightly insane.
Of course, this being a pre-fabricated laptop, it does come with its share of HP Bloatware. While it is easy to uninstall everything that is not needed, I wanted to ask if it would be more prudent in the future to install a clean (see: Stock) version of Windows 11, rather than dealing with bloatware removal?
I am asking because my Certification program ends this Fall, and I will absolutely be wiping my SSD again; I want to get rid of all the school software/files i have had to install since March.
Finally, is it an accessible process, or will I need sighted assistance along the way?
Note, I have no problem just wiping and reinstalling the preinstall version that cane with this laptop. Still, I like efficiency, so if there is a way... ๐

I would think it should beโฆ
I would think it should be fine. Getting your computer to boot from USB could be the only fun part if you have to go in and change boot order. But I've done installs from a flash drive before, and once it boots, you just start narrator as normal, and it usually works just fine. Worst I ever had happen was it didn't find sound drivers right away so had to go hunt down a usb headset. But even that is rare anymore.
Well..
Well I have been scouting for a usb gaming headset for Forza Motorsports. So will definitely be sure to have one of those before attempting this.
Thanks! ๐
