Chatgpt has become more and more a daily part of my life. I subscribe now and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on locating the send button more reliably?. I can always find it but sometimes it takes me a couple seconds. Not a huge thing if you're chatting with it once or twice a day but anything more than that it begins to feel overly cumbersome.
I do love the voice chat feature which helps me avoid this problem and in some ways is more streamlined but I would really like to be able to find that send button more reliably.
One way I figured out is to put the keyboard in traditional typing mode, put the focus on the letter Q and then swipe left. That usually works but means that I can't keep the keyboard on touch typing mode which I usually do, and in any case this feels like another workaround.
Also if I put the focus on the vertical scroll bar I can swipe right a few times and find it. Somehow I have to bypass a few messages, which I'm confused by,.
Anyway I would love if anyone had any suggestions if I wanted to insert a text through dictation rather than using the voice mode

Problem with the app
I've noticed the same thing as well. I don't think the app was always like this. At least, it wasn't this way in the beginning. Not sure what has changed. Before, when you sent a message, your focus would be right at the bottom of the screen. There was no need for you to go through the other Messages. Sorry. I think this is a problem with the app from the side of the developers.
Chat GPT and other AI's
Yes, the Chat GPT app, although mostly accessible, isn't very efficient to use. The UI is very cluttered, and for people who have to swipe to navigate through elements on the page, that can be very frustrating.
A number of the AI apps are like that, very cluttered and hard to find certain important buttons.
On the web, many of the chat bots have many unlabeled buttons. There is no excuse for having unlabled buttons on the web any more. After all, this is 2024!
I've written to several of these services, especially about the unlabeled buttons which is an issue that is easy to fix - Not rocket science. They always write back with their positive responses and thanks for the suggestions (or maybe their chat bots are the ones responding), but nothing has changed.
Hopefully some of these services will get their heads out from under a rock and start to make these services easier to use, less cluttered, and more accessible. Even sighted people get frustrated by very cluttered UI designs!

Yeah
It's sad, honestly. When the application came out, it wasn't like this. I don't know what changed. As it regards dictation, once you're in the text field, if you're using voiceover, you should be able to double tap with two fingers, dictate your text, and send it off.
explore by touch
The 'Send' button is located towards the top of the screen when you're in an edit field. Finding it that way works pretty much every time for me.
I think the reason is
I think the reason is you need to touch the button exactly right on it, some other apps kinda help you by selecting the closest button when you touch free space next to a button, that is very helpful for us.
Another thing i noticed is when it responds voiceover reads the message line by line and i can skip a line by simply tap once anywhere on the screen I like that feature although it almost every time skips the second line.
