iOS and iPadOS

I have the app installed on both phone and watch. It used to give me a ton of notifications, now i have none. I just opened it and 11 notifications are active. i'm using latest IOs and latest WG update. Is it on their end? If so, I understand, i'm just asking for some clarification. btw I was grandfathers in so maybe i should restore purchases? thanks all.

Didn't realise until I read this post, but now |I think about it I've definitely got this going on. Following doesn't seem to work either.

Do not know if all with this issue did it but just in case. setting, account, reset account, or delete app and install app. Also asked Scott for support.

Hi Siobhan
Not aware of any problems - we send out 10s of thousands every day.

However, send me a feedback email please and I can diagnose the problem.

Sometimes an Apple update will kill the permissions.

Cheers
Scott

Hi Scot. It seems to be working now. I just opened WG and saw the new storm threats and storm reports. would like this but it's another couple of dollars a month which is of course for the added cost of the servers etc. If I restored purchases would I be able to get those? Living in fL, I just try to take everything I can get :) If this wouldn't allow me access, not a problem. thanks for your help.

Hi Siobhan

Storm Threats are available with the Extended Forecast subscription, which also includes air quality and a bunch of other stuff.

If you have a current subscription for the extended forecast then a restore purchase would put those back.

Lightning and storm threats are the most expensive data unfortunately. It's also fairly unique in that you've effectively got your own storm tracker - you can set the radius out to 100 miles - and get notifications as the storm approaches. After release 4.6.0 which is soon - and a massive update - I'm probably going to try and offer a free trial so people can try these out.

It is getting better and better. Doing the beta and love the lightning tracking. It probably will get much better with iOS 18 and would be interested to know how Apple I deals with it.

Hi scot. Thanks for the help. I was "grandfathered' in before the subscription model went live, and though i know it's not always possible, I was wondering how far that access granted me. apparently, I'm at my end of the rope. :) no problem, I know the lightning is expensive, I was just trying to figure out what to do. Thanks so much. Do you really have to eat? I mean 2 bucks a months is what, veggies or something? Joking ;) Seriously, I understand and thanks for the explanation.
