Good afternoon,
I installed watchOS11 last night & did not find an area of the site to post our findings on this new version of watchOS. This thread may be used to report bugs as well as things we find cool about the new operating system.

Apple Beta Releases
Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms
Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.
If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

You can now change your ring & text tone!
I’ve owned an Apple Watch ever since they came out. For the first time ever, we are able to change the ring and text tone of our Apple watches!

You mean finally apple did what the galaxy watch does regarding ringtones for call? Similar to iPhone? Please say yes. I will wait for beta 3 or 4 to install the OS in my watch 9.
I don't know what they did.
I'm not sure what Samsung did with their watches?
Would you be willing to share more?

You can set a ring tone for specific call similar to the iPhone. Same for notification. Apple need to give us that.
Finally!!!
Now I'm actually excited!!
Custom tones/texttones?
This is great we can change sounds! Does anybody know if this includes custom ringtone or text sounds?
How's Voiceover responciveness?
I am super interested in an Apple watch for myself. But some threads in this forum suggest that the experience with Voiceover is not that great.
Can someone tell me if Voiceover on Apple Watch is as responcive as it is on IPhones? I realize not all the apps may be accessible, but at least all the major Apple apps hopefully?
Can I run spotify/ Youtube music locally on watch, and directly connect my Non-Apple Bluetooth earphones to watch, enjoy music directly from the Watch, leave my phone behind?
If I get the selular version, would I be able to turn on hotspot on the watch so that my other devices can use that network?
And how's the waterproofing? Do I need to take it out when I am out and it's raining?
Will SE versions get the new improved Siri, or I need the Series 9/10 or whatever major version?
Apple AI isn't coming to watch
From what I've read, looked at and heard, the watch will get no AI features. These features will be available only on Ipad, iPhone and Mac.
Note- Apple m series chips are required for Apple's new AI to work on Mac and iPad
Spotify and music
Spotify is available on Apple watch, as is Apple music. For YouTube music, I'm not 100% sure, never used that when I had an Apple watch.
Hotspot is unavailable to my knowledge, the battery in the watch would not be able to last for that I doubt. Even if it was a feature, you probably wouldn't get long on it at all, but as far as I know it never has been a feature, and I doubt it will.

Using watch 9, before 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9. No major issues with VO. Now you can select your voice similar to iPhone. I use Tom for watch, iPhone and iPad 9. Would love to get more voices in English but not sure Apple did it.
Workout feedback
Does Siri read feedbacks when starting, pausing and at splits of a workout when voiceover is on? Until now it didn't, you have to turn off VO to allow Siri to read them.
Knut
Not sure do not use it, Now siri reads shows your ECT, heart rate. Probably will do so with the new 11.
Serious accessibility issue in the Messages app
Hi there!
Have you noticed the following accessibility bug in the Messages app?
In watchOS 11, after i'm going to any conversation, messages are completely inaccessible to VoiceOver. Messages preview in the notification center or immediately after a message arrives is also inaccessible.
Unfortunately, this is quite a disappointment. I have already reported this to Apple.
