Hi all. I'm in a situation I could use some help with. My braillenote touch plus was sent into Humanware several months ago to have the braille display cleaned. I got it back yesterday, expecting to find a crispi braille display just like it had been the first day I got it. Sadly, that wasn't the case. While most of the display seems to be fine, the first two or three cells are so faint, I can hardly feel the dots. Can somebody please advise me on what to do from here?

This is not a gadget that can be fixed elsewhere other than the supplier or certified technicians. Get in touch with HumanWare and report their mishandling of the repair.

Same thing happened with my Touch Plus several years ago, and then when I sent my Mantis to HumanWare last year, they only partially fixed the key I was having problems with. The only thing anyone can suggest is calling them back, but it's frustrating because they don't always do a good job at cleaning or fixing these devices.
