We have received comments to version 1.0 and 1.1 and we are releasing version 2.0 that incorporates the comments that we have received 📣.
Below are the five major reasons why you should give 2cBoard a try.

1. 2cBoard is a brand-new keyboard specially designed for you. It is not a qwerty keyboard that was invented in 1874 with design criteria optimized for the typewriter. 150 years is a tremendous run for a design but in 2024 is it not the time to try something different designed for you on a device that didn’t exist even in science fiction in 1874?
2. Not one size fits all. 2cBoard 2.0 has four large key size to choose from. It can help you for a long time since once you have learned to use it (5 minutes), you may change the key size if your condition changes.
3. 2cBoard 2.0 has dictation and helps correct dictation mistakes.
4. 2cBoard is a full-feature keyboard. It includes emojis, easily reachable symbols or punctuations, and it is multi-lingual.
5. 2cBoard may even help with your health. 2cBoard does not try to guess your words, instead, it tries to help you with the letters that will fit your own words, and if it cannot find the proper letter it lets you exercise your logic to find it. This design helps you exercise your brain seamlessly, and may potentially be beneficial for your mental health.

I hope that the 2cBoard keyboard will help you.
If you have comments, please feel free to send them. We are continually developing 2cBoard, and we will take your comments into consideration in our development.

I just downloaded this and tried it. It seems to work pretty good though I haven’t gotten the hang of typing yet, but something tells me it’s going to be easier than the standard iOS keyboard.

Hi,
sadly I am not really impressed by the app in it's current form. The keyboards to me seams to invent a problem that we never had but apparently needs solving, the only reasons why beeing, the typewriter design is old and we need something new for the heck of it.
I went through the guided tour and the tour actually seams to contradict itself, it states after the example that you need 7 taps to write the words "Buy me" with a smiling Emoticon, where the normal system keyboard only needs 6 taps. So, where is this more efficient when i need more taps to achieve the same thing as where I only would need 6 taps on the system keyboard?
I find the keyboard really clunky to use, the fact that you always need to check if the letter you need is actually in the predictive row or not makes it more cumbersome then everything else, also taking into account that you have to double tap each letter, there doesn't seam to be support for lift to type or even direct touch typing which I use with the system keyboard.
The fact that you have to pay for typing sessions, either as a limit or as an unlimited purchase which costs 23 euros this is just the nail in the keyboards coffin in my opinion.
Sorry if I sound brutal, but these are my thoughts on the hole thing.
Flicktype back in it's day was an awesome keyboard because it actually made things right and yes, easier for us, this just isn't it I think.

Greetings Moritz.

The idea of the keyboard is great, having the letters you may want next available, but it needs the lift and tap mechanism; double tapping each letter to use it will make it 14 15 or more taps, i really wanted this to be flicktype reborn, can we still actually get the original, no frills working flicktype? it was just a superb way to type.
