Hi All,

Ok after checking Google and this site which by the way has some posts on this I simply can't work out how to turn off app store automatic updates. I know I've done this in the past but no idea how. According to Google and this site two ways. Settings, itunes and appstore is one. This does not exist. Then another was to click on your name in settings and again you can do it from there. No I can't. Tried every place I can think of and still no joy. Anyone done this recently and knows how it is done?

iPhone 15 Plus and latest IOS. Go to Settings, then App Store and you will find the relevant setting in there.

Appstore is not an option in settings thats what is odd. Even checked in screentime as apparently content could be an issue and nothing.

Ok I must have spent about 3hrs on this. I just realised I work for a bank and they have their own app for downloading business apps. Just checked settings on my personal phone and although appstore does not exist there is an app named the same as the bank app which isn't on m personal phone. So it looks like the actual appstore has renamed itself to the same as the one on my work phone. Very odd and unbelievable. Just toggled the setting so shall see. This is similar to MS authenticator which shows up as authenticator and another app for work RSA secureid which shows up as authenticator. So you can have two identical named apps. Guess the icons look different but that isn't a lot of use. Anyway, may have solved this. Thanks for suggestions it made me double check app names.
