Any Suggestions or Recommendations For Delta Emulator?

For anyone who’s used or currently using Delta game emulator for iOS, what would you recommend for “accessible” games for the blind? I put the word accessible in quotes because I know with retro games there’s not really much accessibility lol, but I can still play based on sounds and certain audio cues within the game. Right now I’m playing Super Mario World for SNES and Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64. What other games would you suggest as a blind gamer using Delta emulator and a bluetooth keyboard specifically?

B-wings, 1942, Top gun, Tiger-heli, Road Fighter, Ring King, Donkey Kong 3, Battle city and World champ, also known as Super boxing great fight. Many of these games are inaccessible/difficult, but they have some excellent game genie codes that will make them playable. Yes, I know it's cheating and all that, but without using them in these kind of games, you will be heavily limited in your choices. Fighting is one thing, but not being able to see where to walk in order to progress through the stage is another animal entirely. Take top gun for example. Fighting is not a problem, you can shoot down the bad guys pretty easily, but there are two scenarios that will completely mess up your progress, such as successfully landing on the aircraft after the mission, or refuelling. You start the game with three lives, there are four stages, which means you will have to land four times which is already more than the lives you have. During the game, you also have to refuel three times, which can also kill you if you don't do it successfully. That's where the genie codes come in, one for successful landing and another for successful refuelling. Anyway, that's what I have for you so far.

Disclaimer: now you're playing with power. Emulated power!

Nintendo is so going to sue me. . . 😳

So, i wanted to say thatI used to play RetroArch on macOS, and their was a really sweet addon/extension that gave the emulator OCR capability ingame. I am not sure about the iOS version, nor if Delta has anything like this, but just wanted to throw that out there.

@Hannah,

I have nothing but respect for you if you are playing Mario 64! I had eye sight when that game, and system, launched, and am well aware of how, involved, the game can be. 😅

May i play warsim through this app?

First, it depends on what console the game is for. Second, I never heard of the game, so I can't give a direct answer.

Warsim is a text0based game with asci graphics for Windows. Available on Steam and itch.io. It's a very good game that gets frequent updates, and I do wish there was a way to play on platforms other than Windows.
