Blasted Siri voices and Voiceover! They're always deleted!

With apologies for reposting the below, which I initially appended to a thread about IOS 17.2.1 but I am not sure it registered that prominently. Anyhow, here goes:

If anyone has any idea what to do about this could they please help? Even if it's been said elsewhere on this site and I've missed it, help would be appreciated and I apologise for asking again. The issue where my Siri voices are deleted after a battery charge seems to happen much more regularly recently. I thought setting my Siri voice to the same one as I use for Voiceover was a work-around. It worked for a while but now it's no good at all. Does anyone have any ideas It's getting very, very annoying to say the least. Yes I could use a different voice and I probably will have to if this goes on, but apart from that—any work-arounds or solutions? Using an iPhone 13 and UK Siri voice 3 for both Voiceover and Siri. If these voices get debbleted again in the next week I'm stuffed as travelling with only mobile data or free wifi which wouldn't be man enough to redownload.

Hello,

Last week I updated to the latest public beta of iOS 17.5 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The only voice I had installed on the device was UK Siri voice three. After a normal charge cycle from around 40% to fully charge VoiceOver reverted to Danial and Siri was gone.

Sadly for me at least the bug is still very much alive.

Have no fear, the Norwegian is still here.
This is interesting.
I have gone through several charge cycles now on 17.4.1 on my iPhone 14 and all of my voices is still there.
I have two voices in my rotor: Norwegian SIRI 1 and UK SIRI 3.
I've switched from UK 2 to 3 and vice versa a couple of times and still no problem.
I always check after a charge cycle that my rotor voices is still there and I also go to VO settings to check all downloaded voices.
I have Norwegian SIRI 1 and 2, UK SIRI 1, 2 and 3 downloaded at the moment.
All voices still present on my device after a charge cycle.
Yep, I know because I switch voices regularly.
Ok, I guess after writing this comment everything will most likely go straight to hell again.
PS: when this bug is squashed for all of you I will come over to Barnet and buy you all a beer.

I'm glad you're a satisfied customer. I wish I knew how you did it. AS it is I'm back to the Bingo work around for now. The only trouble with that work around is the iPhone won't do its thing with iCloud backup while on charge, so one has to remember to do that oneself from time to time.

I am back to this thread, and it’s even more entertaining than last time! Lol
You don’t need a TV show when you have this!

Yes it is entertaining at times I knew he would be, even The Beatles said Norwegian Wood!

I’m still plagued by the bug on the latest beta of iOS 17.5 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Well for 4 days in a row now it has not deleted voices. So for now it seems to be ok on my 15 pro 17.4.1. For how long who knows.

I am on the latest stable version, 15 Pro Max, and voices are not getting changed after charging, not sure why I am not facing this issue.

Darn annoying indeed.
Here the other day I posted a comment stating that all is well and no auto-deletions since upgrading to iOS 17.4.1.
However, suddenly the bug is back and auto-deleted all of my SIRI voices after a charge cycle.
Now it's time to re-download all voices yet again.
This is very strange.
