Work gave me a new iPad.
To use it productive I bought an Logitech combo touch keyboard case to use with this iPad.
However when I close the keyboard case with the iPad inside, the iPad keep staying awake, as with my previous iPad, I could close the case and the thing would be silenced.
This iPad is also silent when I detach the keyboard and lock the screen.
I made sure that the screen is not waken up by touching it,, I disabled that setting.
Same goes for the setting that I made sure is enabled, that the iPad is brought to sleep when closing the case.
Also I disabled the setting within VoiceOver to ignore the trackpad.
The keyboard is connected via the smart connector. Not via bluetooth.
It is an iPad 2022 with Touch ID in the power button.
Anyone any ideas?

Sorry, but
This is a known problem with that Logitech keyboard you could take it back and switch to the Apple magic keyboard which doesn’t do that. Alternatively, you could call Logitech and see if they know the fix, but as far as I know there isn’t one.
It’s only when VoiceOver is on.
Without VoiceOver, the iPad locks fine as you said. This means it’s probably fairly low on Logitech priority list to fix.
Slim folio logitech
My does not do so, using iPad 9.
Yes have been through this
The Logitech keyboard cases with the touch pads have this issue. The only thing to do is to disable screen locking upon cover closing and to lock your iPad manually. Logitech is one example of companies that hardly listen to customers. Me and others had this issue and we contacted them and we had had no response.
