Hey,
Like many, I'm rather reliant on others to help me post items. There are a few services now that allow for pick up here in the UK and some actually bring labels, but not all. I'm looking for a way to print labels reliably. I'm not interested in printing anything else so would Ideally want a little printer that exclusively prints labels, my flat is pretty small and already packed with 3d 3d printers, guitars, sound systems, and other such rad stuff.
The parts I assume I need are:
1. An accessible means of printing/an app/software.
2. A printer that works with such an app.
3. The correct labels for said app.
Any ideas or experiences would be very welcome.
Thank you.

Avery Labels
Hi Ollie,
You will want to use Avery labels as these are standardized in terms of size. Not sure if they are different in the UK than in North America.
You print labels from the Contacts app on your Mac. When you go to print, there are settings in the printer settings that specify which Avery label sheet you are using. This is useful for printing many labels at a time as well as one or two you may need on occasion.
I've received my own return address labels from a charity here in Canada, so I will stick that onto an envelope for posting. This way, I don't have to print a return address.
Alternatively, if you want to go the Pages route, you can download Pages templates for the Avery label number you need. Insert your addresses into the table that appears and print away.
This is really useful, thank…
This is really useful, thank you. So this is using a standard printer, I'm guessing?
Yes, you use a standard…
Yes, you use a standard printer. I have a colour laser printer and the sheets fit right in like normal paper.
