Any tips on using the Mac to record your iPhone screen and sound

Hi all,
I'm looking for a better way to make decent quality recordings of my iPhone screen, including audio from both the iPhone and my own voice. I'd like to play around with including video of myself in the corner of the screen, or with transitions, too.
What I've generally being doing to date is just using the screen recording feature on the iPhone itself, and including the microphone.
But as I say, I'm curious to try some marginally more advanced stuff.
I've tried QuickTime on the Mac, but found that I can only select either the iPhone audio or my voice, but not both. Not sure if there's a way around this.
Or is there other software I could be using?
Cheers,
Dave

I don’t have a Mac, nor have I ever used one. When you do a screen recording on your iPhone, it shows up in your photo gallery as a video. I assuming that all photos and videos from your iPhone would show up on your Mac easily enough? There’s no point in making it more complicated than you need to. Apologies if I’ve misunderstood!
