I reinstalled macOS and downloaded Speech Central from the App Store, the app crashes when I open it. I removed the app and redownloaded it, and nothing seems to get it to work. Any idea what to do?
I enrolled in the beta, I import a book but it is not shown in the books and articles section, the app announces '0 items.' I tried with EPUB and PDF and they both did not work for me.
Any idea what might be causing this on a newly installed MacOS?
I can think of several things, but most likely is that you have tried to use the keyboard shortcut which at some point wasn’t implemented. I mean there was the idea to make this specific for Mac and to support opening when no window is opened so it was partially implemented then, you could pick the dialog but it hadn’t triggered anything further.
i actually just downloaded the iOS app for the first time, intending to test it out as a replacement for much of the functionality of voicedream reader. how ever it crashes as soon as i try to load a screen with articles on it. doesn't even let me into the article to start reading, just crashes out all together. good to know that the mac one is having crashing issues to, i won't buy that till i know it's working again.
