VMWare fusion and MantisQ40

Hey there,
I have a Mac and a Mantis. How does the Mantis work when using VMWare fusion?
Does the keyboard and braille output transfer to the VM when in focus, or will it always go to Voiceover?
If the latter, is there a way to switch braille/keyboard input and output to the VM and the windows screen reader?
Ideally, I'd love to use both the braille display and keyboard with both mac and windows.
If I put this in the wrong section, let me know.

I use a Brailliant BI X 40 with VMWare fusion frequently. I don't know of a way to share the Bluetooth connection, so I do it via USB. Turn off VoiceOver while starting the VM and the braille display. Otherwise, the Bluetooth connection with VoiceOver seems to get in the way. Connect the braille display via USB. It will pair normally and can be used for input and output. When you switch to the Mac side, use a bluetooth connection. I find that the connection stops working on the Mac side after a while. The USB connection with Windows stays solid though. Good luck!
