hi all, wanted to no, which voice people are loving to use on their macks? as i'm coming from android and jaws on windows, personally, I love to use eliquence with voiceover.
I, too, love Eloquence and all the extra parameters that came with it. But 2 other voices that are perhaps a couple favorites of mine are Siri Voice 3 for American-English and the British-English Siri voice 4. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think these 2 have cool accents. For whatever reason Siri voice 3 American-English is not on my Mac anymore, but he is currently the one I'm using on my new phone. Having said that, I've more or less switched to various voices as I like them all.
I think "love" is putting it strongly, but the best for me is Serena Premium. I possibly would use UK Siri voice 1 (if that's the female one) but it has real problems if you ask it to spell out a word - its speech rate just goes really low and it slurs its words as if it's been at the gin. I don't really find any of the voices are quite perfect - they all have quirks.
I've never been able to get my head around Eloquence.
