Strange behavior with Microsoft Word on Mac.

Hello everyone, I’m not sure if anyone else has been having this issue, but recently, Microsoft Word hasn’t been too friendly with me. Whenever I type into a document, there is no feedback whatsoever, and whenever I open old documents, voiceover does not recognize any of the text, and says that the content is empty. It’s strange because I could still select and paste the text, but in Microsoft Word it’s not readable. I’m not sure why or how this issue started, but I tried resetting and shutting down my Mac multiple times now with the same results. Pages or any other word processor seems to be working fine, it’s only word that I’m having this problem with. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to solve this issue?

What is your App/OS/hardware/VO version info?
I'm not able to reproduce your issues on the following system:
Microsoft Word for Mac, Version 16.84 (24030531)
MacBook Air M1, 2020
macOS Sonoma 14.4
VoiceOver voice Alex, US English.

I seem to be having the same problems. If I type, I don't hear anything, trying to read the document line by line, is, voiceover doesn't read. I'm on mac os ventura, but i'll give word another go.
