How can I screen share on facetime with mac os cinnoma?

Hello all.
I'm not really sure how to screen share on facetime, I used to be able to screen share just fine, but now with the update, I don't know how to.

For me, when trying this on a FaceTime call with myself, I was able to click the Screen sharing button and choose the open app I wanted to share, in this case Safari, in the resulting dialog. Once I clicked that, it said I was currently sharing, and if I focused on the "Empty scroll area" and pressed VO-Shift-L, VoiceOver spoke the contents of the Safari window I had open. I'm not sure how to share screen content on a more granular level, nor do I know precisely how they appear if I had other participants on the call, as I am totally blind and I don't believe VoiceOver can efficiently parse content shared this way.
