I paused something i was watching last night to watch football. Opening up the comp, I couldn't restart the show. so this morning I tried again and it just says buffering. Now i know my connection's not the problem, the amazon app can be a big pain in the ass so if anyone can help let me know.

So googling this I got a number of results that all boil down to the same thing; Amazon streaming is f**ked and has been for sometime now. I have looked on Amazon support pages, as well as 3rd party pages like this one.

They all say the same thing:

  1. Reboot router.
  2. Kick off other devices connected to said network
  3. Forget and re-login to network
  4. Clear cache
  5. Clear history.
  6. Check for Prime app update (if using the app).
  7. Download the content so it plays directly from your hard-drive.

That last one is probably the only one worth noting.

From what I have read, customers have been dealing with this for a while, and although other streaming services work just fine i.e. Netflix, Peacock, Disney+, Paramount+, etc, Prime is kinda bunk at the moment.

HTH. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I didn't really want to watch the Kevin James stand up anyway. It's not worth watching if buffering. Ugh stupid Amazon.

In my experience, Prime Video only works "as intended" on Amazon Fire Devices. In my case, the Fire TV Stick 4k Max. 🤷🏼‍♂️

On a side note, if you want funny, look up Trevor Noah on Netflix. 😃
