Battle Against Darkness for IOS was released very recently. This game has been discussed a lot on the audiogames.net forum, but basically, it's a music rhythm game. I downloaded it this morning, but haven't tried it yet.

I was eventually able to sign in using my passcode. Because Voiceover was disabled, it was a guess at first, but when I turned Voiceover back on I was able to see that what I was entering was incorect, and was able to enter my passcode correctly. For those who have face ID, you should be able to sign in that way, or you could sign in using Touch ID if your iPhone contains a Home button. The tutorial is quite long, but I eventually got through it, and have completed my first battle. Good luck.

well....
becasue the developer is Chinese developer.
so, the english is a bit difficult to understand...

Where are you trying to sign into? I need more information to help then just a one or two word answer.

Battle against dark nes

If you have Face ID or Touch ID enabled, use these to sign in without tapping on the "sign into Apple" option. VO needs to be disabled. Good luck.

You should be able to tap on sign in then turn voiceover on and use face ID and it should work.

It sounds similar to Punkpie game called Aurifi, just downloaded it and have been looking for a game similar to that one. Thanks for sharing.

So I’m at the sign in screen and it won’t let me sign in successfully I have my face in view I’m using an iPhone 14 running the latest version iOS 17.3 and voice is off when I turn on voiceover I get log failed and then I’m not able to Login successfully with voiceover on in this game. Any thoughts? I’m using Face ID I don’t even see an option for entering passcode. I even tried screen, recognition, knowing that this is in landscape mode.

The accessibility patch for it will be availible tomorrow, there's a post on applevis about it.

I really don't like that it might be in Chinese instead of English. however, what's this about/are their any youtube videos on it? I've never heard of it before, and I take it that it's not accessable w/VoiceOver? What about on an iPhone 8+ with iOS 16, latest version

Hello,
I found some tutorials on the game, and although the narrator's English is a bit hard to understand, I'm worried about the arrows and stuff. Since I cannot see at all, having been born totally blind, how to figure out where the arrows are/how to use them appropriately? I guess there are visuals here, so can you turn those off and just use your ears? This is similar to Beatstar, an app one of my friends has/allowed me to share in their gameplay as much as I could by tapping on the screen, did pretty well, too! I assume that direct touch is enabled for this app?

By David Standen on Sunday, January 21, 2024 - 01:54

There are accessibility settings within the game which you can toggle, once you have signed in. You perform the gestures by tapping the left, upper middle, and right sides of the screen. This is explained when you enter the tutorial. However, I wouldn't play right now as there are more issues since the latest update, and I can't even complete a full stage without being blown up, even though I am performing the gestures correctly.

I sure hope this is free and/or under a dollar in US currency without rounding first. Also, is this self-voicing--with American English--or voiced by the screen reader, of course VoiceOver? Should I get the game anyway and wait for updates? It sounds very interesting, and just like Beatstar, you tap on different sections of the phone. However, of course, there are some visual arrows as I've said, so it's also cool I guess. I'll listen to the tutorials more, but if you forget something, does the music stop right away? That's how it does in the otheer game, Beatsdtar/sure wish that were accessable.

By Jonathan Candler on Sunday, January 21, 2024 - 01:54

Hello, the game is free with in app purchases but you don't have to buy them if you don't want. I've having issues playing as well but it's mostly on getting on if I'm doing things correctly or not. I honestly haven't tried the latest update as of yet. Now I wonder if I should even try.

It seems strange to have like 700 mb or so. why is that/why have so much data loaded for this game? Of course, my total iPhone storeage is going up by tenths--so like 38.5 or something like that ... 38.7, that is at the end of download. soo cool that you can track that in the general and iPhone storage area.

By Ashleigh Piccinino on Sunday, January 28, 2024 - 01:54

Hello,
I won't make this long, but don't you all agree that Mr. Candler should try the game ... only if he wants to, of course? I will whenever I get a chance/been wanting one of these forever. if I like it, I'll of course support it/leave positive reviews.

Hello,
I've got my first battle retinus key or however it's said/the English is a little hard to understand. However, when I'm on the current equipment or selected equipment page, what do I do? Of course, I can't change the items or sell them, and I tried following the music in the tracks, but no luck. By the way, really good introduction and sound effects. Should I start over again or something? I mean, the app's free, but as I said before, I won't pay in unti I know the app well enough. They need to slow down the speech of the synthesizor in the beginning though although I can now understand it that fast. Hey, at least it's not all the way in Chinese, just that accent of English/always have loved those when I could understand. I guess they have real voice actors, so yes, I would support them for a few bucks--a few bucks only, though--as money's tight here. Anyway, the guy who says the things about passing the test soundds really familiar to me, so what other game did he do voices for? It sounds like the video person on the Dark Wizards Youtube page did some of the narration in the game, so did she? if so, despite her English being a little rocky, I could listen to her for a bit.

It is supposed to be released this year. it is being developed by the developer of Lost Vault. He did say it is going to be accessible.

By ming on Sunday, January 28, 2024 - 01:54
