Facebook Problem

I cannot locate items posted by friends in the newsfeed to like or to comment on when using VoiceOver. I have an iPhone 5 running the latest 6.1 software. Sighted folks see links above friends' names, but the rotor does not move to links. Tapping on friends' names or words in the post such as "CNN" does not bring me to the apprise reference either. What do I need to do?

Although I have not tried what the previous commenter suggests… I know exactly what you're talking about. Some posts things work fine and you can get to the referenced article, video etc.… But other times you double tap the post and the only thing that the Facebook app does is bring you to that specific post… Further double tapping takes you know further to the reference article. I will try what the previous commenter suggested But I think it's an accessibility issue within the Facebook app… We should be sending emails to the Facebook team en masse as this is actually a pretty crucial feature. Sided individuals take advantage of this on a regular basis… And so to have such an integral feature inaccessible to us is unacceptable.

I do think this is an accessibility problem. It has been around for a long time. I'll add on to it by mentioning that when people post links, voiceover doesn't read what the link is or even the URL. All that is announced is "Person X posted a Link." Has anyone submitted a bug report on the "Accessibility for People with Disabilities facebook page? I will but it makes more of an impact if multiple people report the same bug.

I didn't even know that Facebook had such a page… I have been enlightened. Thank you. I will definitely be taking advantage of this.
