Hello darlings! How are you all? I truly hope and wish so.
I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Just to clarify, I had an old 6s before this device, and I was pleasantly surprised by it, because it didn't heat up as much as the 6s does. However, since the launch of iOS 17, specifically version 17.1, my device has become hot due to absolutely anything, even opening emails in Mail or browsing the home screen now makes me feel the heat emanating from the back of the phone. It's exactly the same as the 6s time! I just don't understand what could have happened, if my device has all the original parts and only had the battery changed at an Apple Store. So I would like to know if any of you have experienced or have experienced this, as I heard that later iPhone lines, such as the 13 line, do not suffer from this problem in iOS 17. Please give me some light!
Big hug from Ricardo Brandão!

Can you update?
The latest version of iOS is version 17.2.1, with iOS 17.3 on its way soon. Battery life is a lot better in the latest version of iOS, assuming your iPhone does not have a damaged battery.
HTH. 😃
RE: Can you update?
Well, I've already updated, I'm on the latest stable version. As for my battery, it is in perfect condition, and its health is at 95%...
Fair enough
From your original post, it sounded as though you were still on iOS 17.1.
Regarding your question about the iPhone 13 lineup, I can tell you they do rather well on iOS 17.2.1. The exception is Siri's new adaptive listening feature, which we cannot seem to disable on my friend's iPhone 13. Other than that, iOS is amazing on her device. She also does not have the issue with Siri voices deleting. 🤷
I, however, bricked 2 brand new iPhone 15 Pros due to overheating, and I do not even do overnight charging.
So keep all of that in mind if you are considering upgrading.
Otherwise, you may consider visiting an Apple store and replacing your battery again.
Best of luck. 🙂
RE: Fair enough
Sorry, I should have been more specific about the version of iOS I'm using. I've already thought about replacing my phone because of this, but I don't think I'll do it because I can still use the device normally, despite this inconvenience. The battery is also too new for me to think about replacing it, so I think I'll have to live with it until Apple fixes the problem...
