Hello Applevis!
First of all, Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season and a Happy New Year to all of you.
Anyway, I have a brand new Imac Computer that I just set up yesterday, today's my second day using it, and I have a few questions as I'm on my 2nd Imac Computer after getting 9 years out of my last one.
First of all, I tried out the Pages App and it's a lot different than the old one from my old Imac. With that being said, if I want to write a basic Letter such as a note for my neighbor across the street, how do I go about doing that and where do I start on the Pages App? There are so many things available on the App in terms of different things that you can do and if someone can tell me on how to use it, along with it's new features, I would so appreciate someone's help.
Then my next question is what free games can I download on my Imac that are blind friendly?
Then my last question is that I go to Zoom Meetings with ACB, along with other blind Groups and here my question. Can I only use Zoom.com on Safari or is it easier for me to download the Zoom App on my Mac?
Anyway, I would appreciate someone's help to no end and thank you in advance.
Cheers,
Travis Sitler

Pages and zoom
You can use Pages. I would just use a blank template, then print it and send it to your neighbor. i don't use the other templates just because it can be finicky. As for games, depends on what you like. If you like saloon type gambling games, try Sliver dollar by I forget the company. Just sarch it. They also have change raction, you clear the board. I think it's draconiss or however it's spelled. They are planning on going into development of Mac and IOS things. If anyone else finds a free game for the Mac let me know.
Zoom
Zoom is accessible, download the app and you are good to go. For Pages, if you are keen to learn about the nuts and bits of the app I believe there is a tutorial available to purchase online that is VO-Oriented. I forgot thee publisher, but you can easily find it on Google. For the games, browse the mac apps section on Applevis and you will find many games, however I hope that Applevis makes it easier for us to know if the game is free or paid without opening the full description page.
Pages Guide — Shameless Plug
I've created a guide for using Pages with VoiceOver on Mac which can be found here:

This is the first part of 4. They're all in the Guides section. Good luck and congrats on the new iMac.
Games
Here are a few titles to get you started.

The last link is for the online QuentinC Playroom game platform. The web client works really well with Safari and VoiceOver.
Are you using the 2023 iMac with the M3 chip? I'm not sure if The Great Toy Robbery works on Sonoma, and last I checked, Liam never updated it to be natively compatible with Apple Silicon, so it'll be using Rosetta.
Another shameless plug: introduction to Pages podcast episode
For an audio demonstration of some of Pages' basic functions, you may want to check out the AppleVis Podcast episode "An Introduction and Overview of Pages for macOS (the 2022 edition)."
