effective ways to read ppt on mac?

hi all, i'm trying to read a powerpoint presentation file sent my teacher through ms word and keynote on mac, but not able to find proper ways to navigate and read the contents in slyeds.
can someone help me in this regards.

It has been awhile since I used Keynote. I remember from my college days that you could put Keynote into a mode, something like 'Reader' for Safari.

I forget what it is actually called, but within this mode, you can just use Arrow keys by themselves to navigate to the previous and next slides, and VoiceOver will just read the Slides as they are displayed.

Open your PowerPoint presentation in Keynote.
Press Command-Option-P to start slide show.
Note that for some items, you will need to interact to read them.

I find PPT much easier to read after export to PDF, either in Preview, or further converting from PDF to text with an app like PDF to Text Converter.

I have given up on modifying or creating PPT or Keynote. I leave stuff like that to the sighties.
