Accessibility Comments

This application is very accessible like other applications from Microsoft. It is possible to use all features with Voiceover.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

Microsoft Copilot has almost the same interface as the bing application. The usage logic of the application is the same as the chat gpt. For those who find the Bing application complex or looking for a customized application to chat with artificial intelligence, copilot is an efficient and potential-carrying solution.

Copilot uses a service called Dall·e3 to do this. So the answer is yes, you can produce images through copilot by giving the input you want. The opposite is also possible. Copilot will describe any image you want. In addition, Microsoft said that multimodel features based on video description and recap will be added soon.

Hi, does it takes the whole life of my vaterry in 20 minutes?
I mean, the reason I kept away from the Bing app and deleted it from my iphone, was the fact that it drains my vattery while using it requesting for images, does this app has the same issue?

By kool_turk on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 - 10:08

I can't seem to figure out how to delete chats. I have to do this on my PC using a web browser. However, if you're simply asking it a question, then yes, it gets the job done. It would be great if you could instruct it to delete the history from point A to point B, similar to what you can do with Echo devices. But I suppose they don't want you to have that capability.

I asked for an image and i think he did it for me, but there is no way to download the imge to my iphone,

Have a look at the App Store descriptions and you'll see that they brag about their tremendous breakthroughs and the incredible, brilliant, excellent AI that responds to and chats with you and helps you with a wide veriety of tasks as your personal assistant. I have not used Edge on my iPhone, but my experience on my Windows computer makes me conclude that you now have Copilot or whatever the AI thing is called integrated right into it. So why not just use Edge? And if we can use GPT4 for free, why do we even need ChatGPT's official app requiring a subscription for GPT4? Why don't they just make one single app and make things way easier for us all?

Does this mean i'd be able to give it a youtube link and it would be able to describe the video?

That sounds awesome until you realise it's not a describe with the video playing thing, I assume it's just a script of what's going on.

By ming on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 - 10:08

well,
i think it is a little faster than the bing app.
and I hope sometime of soon later we can have a short cut
then you can use siri to control!

Hello all:
still can not get images from the app.
is there a trick or something?

By Bingo Little on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 - 10:08

I keep thinking Eloquence is talking about an app called Microsoft copulate! now, wouldn't that be something? What a difference a hyphen makes.

I, too, would appreciate assistance in downloading images. I asked it to create a flowchart for me and I think it has done but it's not much good if I can't extract it and put it in the document for which I designed it.

After generating an image, Copilot will produce 4 images based on your prompt.

Navigate and bring focus to one of the 4 images. Then do a triple finger single tap to bring up the context menu for the image. You will then have choices for what to do with the image. Choose the "Share" option and then you can save the images to your photos. Once it is in your photos, you can use Be My Eyes to have the resultant picture described in more detail to make sure you got what you wanted.

There are also other options in the conte context menu for the picture.

Hope that helps.

Haven't tried that, but in theory, we should be able to directly export the images to Be My Eyes or whatever app that provides descriptions without saving it to the photo library. We should already have the desired app among the list of options once the Share menu pops up.

We do not need to hear about your fantasies. Weirdo. . . 🫣

Besides, Microsoft and Android have already copulated.

I found the 4 images and can save each of them.
they looks great on beai, and very helpful.
Thanks so much

Is there a way to upload an image and get the app To modify that specific picture?
It would be nice to be able to specify a base image from the results and slowly build on that image until you're satisfied.

By Emre TEO on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

Image creation and photo description are separate features and unfortunately the use you mentioned is not possible at the moment.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

Has anybody created images off here? If so how do you download or save them? I tried with simple things to ideas I have and I cant find where to save the photo even though it says the image was created.

By Winter Roses on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

When an image has been generated, if you double tap and hold, assuming that you're using voiceover, on the image, there should be a context menu with an option that says, save photo. When you double tap this option, it will save the photo to the camera roll on your device.
Pro tip, share the image to the be my eyes app first for a description to ensure the photo generated is what you want before saving it.
On another note, does anyone know how this compares to Google Gemini? As I said above, it would be great to be able to create one image, and then slowly build on that image, instead of getting four different samples, and then not having the option to specify which image you want to continue with, or how to mix and match elements from all four images to get the desired image that you want. I don't have a problem with getting options, but it would be nice to have greater control over how those options are presented, and how to move forward with those First images that have been generated. For example, sometimes I would like to be able to specify that I like the background from image number one, but I like the subject or the arrangement in picture number two. Now combine these aspects into one cohesive picture. I don't know if they accept feedback, or how seriously the feedback is implemented, but it's worth a try, considering that they have a feedback tab on the app

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

Hi and thank you for the reply. That makes since and yes I'm using voiceover. Where is the image? It says its generated but i cant find it when I swipe.

By Winter Roses on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

When you submit the prompt, and it tells you that the image has been created, when you scroll down, you should hear the description of your prompt, along with the images. You're not seeing that on screen? If not, try closing the app, then navigating back to the chat

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

No when it says its generated i see adds and as I look now it says french bulldog one of four button. I tried long pressing on that and nothing.

By Winter Roses on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

Make sure to press on the image directly. There seems to be some letters after when you're scrolling, so, yeah, make sure that you're tapping the image directly. What are you seeing? Not sure why it's not working. If you double tap the image directly, it should open up a share sheet, you can save it to Files, then save it to your camera. This is a long way of doing it, but I'm putting it out here as a suggestion if you want to try that instead

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

Its weird it takes a few tries to focus on the exact immage then i see the menu you are talking about. Thank you again. I got it and saved it and Be My AI described it right.

By peter on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 - 10:08

I don't know if you can modify images in the manner you describes exactly, but after I have the tool create an image for me, I generally get 4 image results.

After checking the best of these with Be My Eyes, if, for example, the third one was the best, I will tell Copilot to "change the background of the third image you generated to include more trees in the backgkround" (or something like that.

BTW, I do find this UI very cluttered and tricky to use. Sometimes swiping forward and then bacdk again doesn't always bring me back to the original position as I would expect. Also, there is lots of "junk" on the page with links to other suggestions that really are just in the way and make it more work to find the buttons with which I really want to interact.

With a little practice (maybe a lot) and the willingness to put up with lots of mistakes though, the UI can be used with Voiceover. Just don't expect it to be an efficient process!
