BitLife - Life Simulator

Has anyone tried out most or all of the scams? I'm not sure if something is broken or if I did something wrong. I tried out the first 2 then I saw that I could've done one in the intermediate section so I did the shell game and fake charity scam. However, all the rest are disabled in that section and in the advanced level all are also disabled. So I can't do any more. My skill level is 100 on all that I have finished so far. I find that doing them on the streets with the highest traffic gives more money but the police is always a problem. And I did the 1st one back in the beginner section so all is at 100 except for the disabled ones now.

Is there no longer a way with God mode to adjust how much money your parents have? Or is it just not accessible?

Actually, I usually end up having rich parents. I just want to get poor parents sometimes. Should I just said their generosity to really low?

But I have only tried my theory on one life so far though, because ironically, when I'm trying to get rich parents, I have been getting all poor parents

It's impossible to delete a saved life with voiceover, but I'm not sure how to report it to the devs or anyone else has.

Why would you make the statement that you liked the old design? Better even if it means losing Accessibility? The first part of that statement I understand, maybe you just like the old design better, but why would you throw it in there that even if it loses accessibility? I just don’t understand that.

I love the old design better at that time but now that we can do everything that we couldn't in the past i'm glad. it takes getting used to but at least we don't have to play those mini games. I did miss the questions for the driving licence though. Some of them were kind of funny. And I think the astronot update is coming next week.

That is the only important thing that I miss about the old versions. Being able to go by character or word because sometimes I can't hear it very well and quite frankly, if it's some name in some language that I don't know, I want to know how to spell it. Lol. I did think some of the questions for the licenses were pretty funny. I think my favorite one was the one about Rastafarians ahead. Or wild farmers. But in all seriousness, I like this way, much better, especially since we don't have to play the mini games and we can choose peoples hair color, and skin color and things like that. I feel like I was asking for that on the App Store for ages.

In my case, the pros outweigh the cons in the new direct touch version of bitlife. But I customize SO much stuff, I really miss three things, first and foremost, I miss being able to use Braille screen input to type names of custom people, song names, etc. Second, I really miss being able to do a four finger double tap within a journal of a finished life and have it be copied to my clipboard, where I could then save it in a .txt file. Now, if I have a particularly funny one, I have to hook my iPhone to my mac, and put it in airplane mode to prevent interruptions, and record it in audio via quicktime.
Anyway, it's better than not being able to play bitlife at all. Bitlife has gotten me through so many hard times, just because it's so funny.

I agree about some of the things in the old version. I liked to copy stuff and share it with friends and typing is a big pain so if I don't get what I want I just randomize. To pass the time I like scamming people on the street. This is just a tip, if you scam in a year, instead of aging up, you can interact with people on the street by doing more scams and your skill will go higher much quicker. The next life I'm going to play I think I might scam people again and people with 0 money, I'm going to fight or kick them off the street.

I haven’t scanned anybody yet I haven’t even Dallas the app yet but how do I scam somebody? That sounds fun.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems to increase when I go on satelite repair missions, but that's all I know of.

Hi. I am just jumping back into the world of Bitlife, as due to the ongoing overhaul, and then me going to school to get my Masters degree, I haven’t been playing. I have seen a lot of postings on here about direct touch. Is this supposed to be on or off for Bitlife? And what does it do exactly? I downloaded another app that said direct touch area, and it told me to turn it on, but then VoiceOver wouldn’t talk anymore leading me to believe that the app in question was inaccessible.

So is anyone enjoying the update? I don't know if its just me or maybe because I don't know to much about cults I don't really know what much there is to do. Any tips will be appreciated. Most times when I try to recruit people I get arrested. Funny thing is that when in prison you can still see the report but I don't know what else there is to do. Or do we just live off of people's money? Lol.

I wish you good luck on what ever bitlife podcast you decide to do. Originally I was planning to do some my self like different episodes because you can do so much, but since they changed it up to this new pluggin I can't say that I like it. Its ok to play but the focus keeps moving around and it can get annoying at times don't forget how when you try to read the jernal you can go way back like in the old version. I am still exploring with the cult but my followers still don't like me. Lol but one funny thing happened. When I went on a retreat, someone gave me their yot worth 5000000. Didn't get to sell it as yet.

So I had a cult, and someone gave me a submerine wirth 1.8 billion dollars. I had to wait for the value to go down a bit before I sold it, but I still got a bit over 1 billion dollars.

I never received anything worth a billion dollars before unless playing as a royal and I had that as my inheritance. I am going to play some more and see how it goes. I retired and started a cult so don't know how long it will last. I couldn't sell my yot as yet. I have to wait a bit but I need the money lol.

I just started playing this game, and the only inaccessible part of it from what I can tell is, annoyingly, the ads, and there are many of them. When an ad starts, I can't leave it without closing and reopening the app, and I think I might be missing out on content because of it? Is there a way to exit the ads that I'm not aware of? Would paying for premium to get rid of the ads be worth it? It sounds like there are lots of cool features with premium, but I'm hesitant to buy it immediately.

If you intend to play the game often it is worth it. I bought that and have no problems. However, if you choose the option to pray and you already purchased add removal, you still have to listen to an add which in my opinion is unfair because we already paid money to not have to do that. I am mostly lucky, after the add I do find the close button. I only use the pray button if i'm in a jam. Lol. This game is so easy for a person to make money these days with all the things they've added as of recent.

What do you mean by pray/pray button?

heya all. I can't play BitLife anymore. It says that I have 27 lives in progress but there's no option to delete them. Also, when I surrender a life in progress, the deseaced life still stays on the list even if the guy or girl is dead. What Can I do? Thanks a lot.

There's no way to delete lives inprogress. The best thing you could do is uninstall bitlife and reinstall it. I never save lives, I just play threw one.

but does that mean that I'll lose all my progress, including challenges?

I have over 700 custom people in my bitlife app. Since they're such a pain to set up, since you can't use BSI or a bt keyboard to enter them, I have bitlife installed on an iPhone, and don't play it on there, so it's basically started from scratch. And when I want to reset my stuff on my primary iPhone as far as bitlife goes, for example if the app size gets too big, I uninstall it on my primary iPhone, and reinstall it from an iMazing backup, just bitlife from the other iphone. The "fresh" install of bitlife, the one I keep on the old iPhone, but don't start new lives and such, I did the painstaking work of adding my people in, so when I do install it fresh on my primary phone, the custom people are all there.

Unfortunately, when you re-install, no matter how you re-install it, with or without custom people, you do lose your achievements.

Bitlife has added the option to pray to receive different in game rewards. You can pray for health, wealth and other things and once you close off the add, you get what you asked for. I also don't save lives because I have no reason to want to do that. If anyone has tips on modeling drop them here because its not working for me. I think the problem is that I'm misunderstanding the sliders when you get a modeling gig. Right now I just gave up on that and running a coffee shop till my life is over but i'm playing slowly. I do need to finish this life and make a new one and start from fresh with modeling and see if I get lucky. And don't forget that the lessons can only be done 3 times a year but I don't know what age you can start though. I can't wait for when they bring out drug dealing update.

I've never tried adding people in bitlife before, but I've come across the option. When you add a person to bitlife, does that person come p in the random events, like wanting to become your friend or can you play as that person once you've added them. I've always wanted to add my sixth grade English teacher and see what happened if I played as her. She was just one of these teachers who made the subject she taught seem really fun instead of super boring.

First of all, for the modeling career, the game usually says some kind of thing that's supposed to be funny like they want someone who can actually cry over spilled milk, that's something I actually got, and then I think you just have to guess at the combination they want. There's room for error, it doesn't have to be a specific combination I don't think. Just something close. And as for adding people, you can create a custom life and name them whatever you want. So if you want to play as that teacher just go ahead and do it. When you add names they pop up randomly, so for example, you might actually get a teacher with that name, or a friend or colleague or whatever. I like to add my friends and also Star Trek characters.

I wish they'd let you have a backup file for your custom people, because I have over 700 of them in there. I add people I know, I also like adding people from TV, radio, etc. One time, my bitlife character wound up running for governor against Mickey Mouse.

One they asked me to act like a brat and be quarky and Of course I set that to 100 and I set my pose to 75 and the other slider which is slipping me right now to that number and I got the gig but they don't rehire me back for another job. I do have to play around with it some more. As for adding people in the game, when bitlife wasn't so clunky it was much easier to do that. This unity pluggin that they use, its to time consuming and tedius to go through each letter one by one. Long ago I use to have the family guy characters but when I updated all that went away.

Because of the darn unity plug-in, it takes a stupid amount of time to type, luckily, I have an old iPhone that I keep a version of the game on with only a beginner life in progress, but all of my custom people in tact, and whenever I need to add someone, I add them there, and whenever I need to reinstall bitlife on my primary iPhone, I just do it with the iMazing app backup tool, and just install the bitlife data. Yes, it's clunky, but until they instate an easier way of backing up our people, it's a work-around.
I did this even before they switched to unity, because with over 700 custom people, it took forever after fresh installs.

And to me, bitlife isn't as fun without custom people.
