What is every ones fave style of ear buds they like to use with there i phones. Like blue tooth head sets or noize canceling ear buds like the sound chore
A pair of these that I am really enjoying right now. I like the sound sound, but mostly the noise canceling and the transparency mode.
When in transparency mode, I can forget that they are in if I’m not listening to anything at the moment Which is amazing for Travel so I can pause what I’m listening to, do what I need to do and then play.
I find the feature where it raises and lowers the volume when it hears you talking to be great as well really cuts down on some of that pausing and playing
I've used both Jabra, Sennheiser, B&W earbuds in the past but AirPods 3rd gen is hands down the best in my opinion.
The audio is good, no lag and great mic.
I also love the new firmware allowing me to mute/un-mute the mic while on a call just by pressing the stem.
I had a lot of lagging problems with B&W especially but AirPods is smooth.
However, if I were searching for new earbuds now I would most likely go for AirPods Pro 2nd gen.
1. The noise cancellation is superb. I used to take my Bose noise cancelling headphones with me when flying. After taking the Airpods on a flight some time ago and comparing with the Bose headphones, I noticed that the noise cancellation with the Airpods was very comparable to the noise cancellation with the Bose headphones. Since the Bose hedphones are very bulky and the Airpods take up practically no room, I will now only be traveling with the Airpods when flying. They aren't 100% as good as the Bose, but very close and certainly very acceptable on a plane.
2. The touch controls are great. You can set it up to have a simple gesture to change from noise cancellation to transparency mode which is great when you're wandering around. Nice to be able to make that transition so quickly. One can also easily change the volume by simply rubbing one's finger up or down the ear piece.
3. I bought these for $200 at Best Buy, which is less expensive than Apple sells them. So look for deals. BTW, this makes them less expensive than the Bose headphones.
4. When the case is being charged you get a nice chirp to let you know the device is actually charging.
One caveat (as with most ear buds), they can slip out if you are not careful!
Anyway, I am very happy with these and also use them when exercising on my noisey treadmill and listening to podcasts. That has also become a lot more pleasant experience.
Let me state up front that I don't like the noise cancelling feature. I want to hear what is going on around me. Therefore, I like the light, airy feel of the Second Gen airPods. I especially like the programmability of this model. I've programmed the left airPod to skip back and the right airPod to play/pause. These functions work beautifully with 3 of the 4 audiobook players I use. (Audible, BookPlayer and Libby) If you need the noise cancelling feature, then these earbuds are not for you.
I much prefer the Beats Fit Pros as they don't have a stem design and they have plenty of bass! Beats Fit Pros are fully integrated with Apple as they have the H1 chip, so they will automatically pair with all your Apple devices.
For me it's hard to pick between these. I do like the sound on the sony earbuds better, but I really love the fact that airpods pro 2nd gen work with find my and the light thingie on the iphone 15pro as well as they do.
I was the owner of a pair of airpods first generation, but the lack of many options of gestures where my dealbreaker with them.
I bought then a pair of Huawei Free buds 4 because of their better quality in mics and the more variety of gestures you could make on them, the rase or lower volume was on the top of my priorities, and you could use the stick on them to do so.
They also have a active noice cancellation, however it is not that great, but helps to reduce a little of the noice outside, at least, it is enough to reduce the sound of my treadmill, and also, they have been great for me while running because they don't fall apart..
Also they look great because they have a color like mirror and people say they lookk great as they could look as different colors, depending on what is on your surroundings , but it is like a silver color.
I have mor than two years with them and they have been the greatest option for my needs.

+1 for the Airpods Pro 2

Huaweis are Great
I have the AirPods Pro 2 and they are fine, however the mic quality is less than the Huawei FreeBuds 3 which I bought four years ago.
