Hi all,

After reading some posts about D&D Beyond and lots of trial and error, I decided to make a demonstration for people to use D&D Beyond if you want to play dungeons and dragons and have access to an accessible character sheet using voice over on iPhone. I have used this successfully when playing online and in person. I alternate between using D&D Beyond and a simple dice rolling app called Natural 20 for dice rolls. This is an overview demonstration. There is a lot more to the app such as how to manage spells, manage inventory and how to create a character/level up a character. If people are interested I’m happy to explain or make additional demonstrations on those topics.

I'd be happy to see how you level up a character in the app, as I have yet to find out how, I've been switching back to the site to do this as it is never clear how you update your character in the app itself. I guess something could have changed to make this possible recently.

Love this app and rolling in it is a snap, I like that it auto-adds your modifiers and such for you. Makes it so much easier.

Regarding character creation/levelling up, yes on a character sheet within the app you choose settings in the top left and then manage character and levels, which opens the website component. It takes you straight to the character class page for that character where you can choose the level for that character or add another class if you’re multi-classing. The most complicated thing about the website I have found is that some sections do not auto-expand and you need to click on the word/heading to give you further information, however the word/heading is not announced as a heading or button.

I will have to check out the pixel die, sounds interesting.
