Apple Beta Releases

Hello everyone,
new betas are out today!
Ios 17.3 comes with a big (not VO specific) feature.
There is a new mode called stolen device protection. I don’t know much about it because I have not used it yet, but from what I hear, it’s amazing!
As far as any other Features or improvements, I will let you know as I test the betas.
If you know of any other features in any of the betas Apple has released today, please feel free to post them here as well as any other bugs or comments you may have.

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

Okay, I've not installed the beta either, but this appears explanatory enough: https://www.macrumors.com/2023/12/12/ios-17-3-stolen-device-protection-feature/
And then have a look at this thread, for making which I was bombarded with criticism and questions from some folks here: https://applevis.com/forum/ios-ipados/potentially-major-security-issue
And now comes yet another one of my "what if..."s: What if Touch ID/Face ID fails to work for some reason like hardware damage?

In the grand scheme of things, it should be the opposite.
Your biometrics are required when iPhone restarts.
Unlike biometrics, a password is a four or six digit number someone can remember, while no one can remember the ones in zeros required to make your iPhone authenticate using biometric data.
I don’t know if that has been changed or not because I’ve not needed to reboot my phone yet. I’m assuming not, but I will update you if I notice anything different.

It's the passcode that's required to activate biometric verification upon restart.
One more thing: The passcode doesn't necessarily have to be a 4-6 digit thing. It can even be alphanumaric and contain symbols.

I am sure on iOS 20 or iPhone 20 whenever you turn your phone on, the AI will recognize you and ask you question to make sure you belong to her. Notice that I stated belong to the AI instead of it belonging to you. She or he will be able to tell is you.

This... doesn't sound quite realistic. AI sure can pretend to be a conscious being, but just seize and/or unplug its power source or disk, or train it with different data, and it'll be gone. So many sci-fi enthusiasts are exaggerating this whole AI thing so much. Do acknowledge the very fact that it's but a bunch of code that doesn't even know what learning means yet is advertised as a groundbreaking revolutionary leap towards humanlike robots and stuff.
