Was curious to find out why any iPhone models above 14 and including my 15 pro no longer support low power mode notifications at 20% and at 10%. Apparently Apple have decided to ditch this formula for any phones above 14, not sure if anyone else knew this. I’m suspecting that it’s more to do with the fact with the batteries being a bit better and not requiring it but I would still like to know if my phone is at 20%, just seems a little odd to me. Cheers

Low Power is Supported
It shows up in the dynamic island now. You will hear it tell you 20% and 10%, but you have to listen for it. Double tap the dynamic island and you will get the option to put the phone in low power. You can also use Siri to do it.
For those that did not know, the iPad supports low power mode now. Same deal for Siri, you can tell Siri to turn on low power mode.
Yeah, with the iPhone 14 Pro…
Yeah, with the iPhone 14 Pro and later models, Apple has shifted the approach to low battery alerts. As far as I understand, this change is aimed at reducing the intrusiveness of the alerts, making them less disruptive to the user experience. The low battery alert now simply appears in the Dynamic Island without requiring any immediate action from the user.
For me, it seems to be more about enhancing the user experience rather than any significant improvements in battery technology.
It's possible to get used to it, even though it might seem unsettling at first.
