Good morning,
Ever since I installed iOS 17.1.1, I’ve been having an issue where voiceover refuses to say the word search.
This issue occurs in three different places. The App Store, the podcasts app, and the Mona app.
I even went so far as to restore both my phone and iPad, But that did not help.
Both devices are running the same version of the operating system and exhibiting the same behavior.
Does anyone know what might be going on here?

Hmm, that's indeed strange... Since you've already tried restoring your devices without any luck, this could very well be a bug specific to the latest iOS version.
A few things to try:
1. Check for Updates: Sometimes, minor updates are released quickly after a major one to fix bugs. Make sure your devices are up to date.
2. VoiceOver Settings: Double-check your VoiceOver settings to ensure no changes occurred after the update.

Changing voice
Have you tried a different voice? Seems very odd. I've never seen this in iOS17.1.1 nor in iOS17.2 betas.

I don't think upgrading to the beta would fix it.
